On the Vend\u00e9e coast, two routes are available to discover the wine-growing region. There’s the ” terroir de Brem sur Mer ” wine route and the ” C\u00f4te de Lumi\u00e8re ” wine route. During your stay at the Les Ramiers campsite, we suggest you take in a piece of the second, a few kilometers north of your campsite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’Or\u00e9e du Sabia in Brem sur Mer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This estate offers a tour of the cellar and winery, accompanied by experts in the field to guide you. During your visit, you’ll learn about the different stages in the production of their wines, and be able to taste them. Open your eyes wide and discover the secrets of the winery, the pressing area and the semi-buried barrel cellar. All the techniques used and their effects on the wine will be explained during this walk. Red, white or ros\u00e9, dare to take part in the tasting of these locally-produced beverages. You can also buy them at the boutique, if you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To visit the outer part of the vineyard, a bike tour is organized. For 13 kilometers, follow the rows of vines and enjoy the local atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Alternatively, the estate also offers you the opportunity to take part in a workshop to make your own wine. You’ll leave with a small souvenir, and a unique moment engraved in your memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit Brem sur Mer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After this stopover at the Domaine, you can visit the charming commune of Brem sur Mer and find all the references to the world of oenology there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, head for the Noyau de terre traffic circle, the village of La Gach\u00e8re and its marshland. This fishing village has retained all its old-world charm. Here you can enjoy the typical local houses, narrow streets and views over the Auzance river. Between fresh and salt water, enjoy the fresh air and the salty smell of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
